Acoustic Research RD-06 Audiophile Cassette Deck

Modern era tape recorder with metal and HS-pro. Has a big bright vacuum fluorescent display and big recording level control. Remote control connector at the back hints at pro installations and bias trim to optimise for tape formulation.

Serviced and working well. A few cosmetic blemishes but zero wear to head and pinch roller.

Denon DRM-740 Audiophile Cassette Deck

Late model pro grade deck with dual capstans, 3 heads and bias adjust. Big flouro display can count tape in seconds and has a very wide vu range of over 40 decibels. 3 motor mechanism is smooth, quiet and gentle on the tape.

Serviced and working well in excellent condition. Suit archivist, audio creative or physical format music lover.

Nice solid deck from Japan Victor Corporation. Mechanism is full metal and has a huge balanced flywheel, making for very stable tape travel.
Big meters, piano keys and mechanical counter complete the vintage vibe.

Sharp SG-12 Music Centre

3 in 1 system with basic turntable, cassette player and tuner. Speakers are modern Pioneer ported 2 ways (new and unused) resulting in very good sound. Spare rca input for aux, cd, streaming etc.

Serviced and working well in good condition.
Turntable is idler drive with a ceramic cartridge running at 7 grams (similar to Crosley etc.) Not recommended for long term use on good vinyl.
