The platter is sunk flush into the plinth for a sleek profile. To allow this, the arm sits in a circular base also sunk below grade. A full slab of brushed and anodised aluminium covers the top and delicate feather touch levers are used for control. Joins the ranks of B&O, Luxman etc. for premium bling.
Full Auto operation is achieved with a separate motor to move the arm. End detect is magnetic reed switch and all 3 sizes of disc are selectable. All contacts are microswitches, the gold standard for any electromechanical device.
In a synchronous motor turntable, noise performance is dictated by motor isolation which is done here with soft rubber grommets. Speed accuracy is achieved through careful belt selection. Plinth isolation is through mass and sprung suspension.
Serviced and working well in excellent condition, best I have seen.
